Mike is a fantastic designer and a valuable member of the team. It's always a great exercise to develop new ideas with him. Mike is always willing to lend a hand or help train a new employee on something, and he never stops learning about new design techniques and programs. Mike is the type of curious-creative a company needs to reach its creative goals.

Mike collaborated extremely well, consistently adding a ton of value along the way, interpreting input and offering impressive results. He is a natural leader and very professional, hard-working, tenacious, and incredibly talented. He is also a team player and easy to collaborate with, continually taking initiative, giving 110%, and always willing to contribute well beyond the scope of his responsibilities. Regardless of the project, Mike is “all in” delivering world class, visual communication. He is the real deal and his vision, judgement, and business acumen are major strengths but I believe his true specialty is exceeding expectations.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike for more than six years, and he was my direct report for over two years. During that time, Mike lead a team which provided the creative design for the company’s entire packaging needs as well as the marketing support for the home hardware division. Mike is detail oriented, with a strong eye for design. During our time working together, Mike performed at a high level and demonstrated a key understanding of how to best communicate a message through graphic design. He remained calm under pressure, and was able to lead his team through a number of challenging/intricate projects. I admire Mike’s desire to continually expand his skills/knowledge – from constantly improving his design talents through online training to pursuing (and obtaining) his MBA while working his full-time job. During our professional time together, I learned as much from him as he ever did from me.
